The Cheerleader's Hot Lesson

I was so damn glad when high school finished. It wasn’t exactly hell on earth for me, but from junior high onward, I’d become one of the fringe guys.

One problem was that I was all about the books. Another was that I didn’t give a damn about sport. And finally, I didn’t really know how to deal with people.

In particular, talking to girls had been a fucking torture. I wanted to make nice with them, just to be friends with them. Maybe even date someone if possible.

But stress and embarrassment always took over my brain and mouth and I’d either freeze, or blurt out some ridiculous facts and figures that only I could see a link for.

Now I was in the lead up to college, and suddenly my mom realized we couldn’t afford the tuition since they cut her hours back at the supermarket.

My dad offered to help, but he had a shit ton of bills, what with his new family and all. Three kids under 6 meant he was pretty short on cash as well. As a mechanic in an auto store chain, he was pretty much topped out on what he could earn.

So, with no other real options, I decided to take on some tutoring work to help pay my own way. Back in school I was a math whiz. That’s why they used to call me the geeky pain with the freaky brain.

Well, I say they, but really it was just one person. Mackenzie Toll. She was the queen of the school, partly because she was a tall, beautiful, willowy blonde, and a cheerleader. She was known as the head cheerleader, but that wasn’t because of her place on the squad. If you get my drift.

Mackenzie was a straight-C student, who was all about the D. Or so I heard. Rumor was, she was super-popular under the bleachers. Not that I’d ever had any chance to find out for myself.

She was such a bitch to me, every single day. Like, I swore she went out of her way to find me and call me names.

The hardest part of all that was, she’d once been my best friend. Our birthdays were only a week apart, and back in grade school, we used to have shared parties.

Then puberty hit and she blossomed into the most divine looking creature. She moved not just out of my league, but into the majors.

Every girl wanted to be her, every guy wanted to do her. But even though she had the busiest social life in school, she still made time to seek me out and humiliate me.

She was never brutal about it, just relentless. It was always low-level shit, like teasing me for giving a damn about my GPA. Or for having absolutely no fashion sense.

Probably didn’t sound like it, but I was mostly over it all. The main problem was, that past was coming back to bite me in the ass. Because my next student was, you guessed it…Mackenzie Toll.
